Residential Estimating
2 week program empowers you to write complete, accurate estimates on damaged dwellings. Students take classroom instruction and quickly apply scoping, identification and measurement knowledge to produce their own automated estimates of realistic damages they find in the "Vale House."
Course Overview
Hands-on scoping and estimating exercises yield marked daily improvement in your adjusting skills. Estimating exercises consider actual damages resulting from fire, water, wind, hail, collision and mold found in the "Vale House." Each unit of instruction includes material identification, nomenclature, measurement, repair versus replacement and unit cost analysis.
After successfully completing this course, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare a complete and accurate electronic estimate, using automated system data, from minor to complex interior and exterior residential dwelling damage.

Note: This course utilizes the latest versions of Xactimate, MSB IntegriClaim, Simsol, and Powerclaim. You will be asked to specify your preferred estimating program at the time of registration.
