Property Adjuster Training
This 3 week course is a policy coverage course, a property adjusting course, and a scoping and estimating course. The curriculum is designed for entry-level and experienced students who must be able to understand and apply ISO™ policy language from the Homeowners, Dwelling and Fire policies as they relate to investigating and handling property claims. The course includes the application of construction estimating concepts to residential building damages. Estimates are generated on the latest versions of available electronic estimating systems.

Residential Estimating
A 2 week intensive course where hands-on scoping and estimating exercises are thoroughly discussed so students can improve their skills daily. The estimating exercises include actual damages resulting from fire, water, wind, hail, collision and mold found in the "Vale House." Each unit of instruction includes material identification, nomenclature, measurement, repair versus replacement and unit cost analysis. All units of measurement are taught and reinforced with scoping and estimating exercises. Estimating exercises, quizzes and tests monitor the progress of each student.

Auto Adjuster Training
The Auto Estimatics course employs a hands-on approach using cutaways, visual aids and a large inventory of late model damaged vehicles. This enables the student to generate damage estimates beginning on the first day of class. Emphasis is given to new vehicles and the new products, materials, and accessories being manufactured today.

Casualty Adjuster Training
The 2 week Casualty Adjusting Course utilizes actual case studies to enhance the student's ability to apply principles to practical applications, taking the student well beyond the textbook lecture experience. The many workshops and case studies build confidence and skills and provide a basis for effective, professional quality claims handling.

Becoming a Vale Certified Green Risk Professional will help students gain a marketable competitive advantage in today’s U.S. insurance industry which is preparing for the explosion of the green movement. Certification requires completion of Green Risks I and II, each 2 1/2 day courses.
