To become a licensed insurance adjuster in Michigan, individuals must:

Licensing Process
- Complete the Michigan Adjuster Application form FIS 0221.
- Submit the Fee processing card FIS 0223 with $15.
- If you must take the Michigan exam, you must pay $40.00 when scheduling your exam. Schedule your exam by calling (800) 742-8736.
Reciprocity
- Michigan is reciprocal with every state that requires an exam to become an adjuster.
Maintaining Your License in Michigan
- No Continuing Education is required.
- Yearly renewal fee of $5.
