Adjuster License Requirements
To become a licensed insurance adjuster in Maine, individuals must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.

- Submit the Maine Adjuster Application with the appropriate fee.
Reciprocity
- Maine grants reciprocal licensing privileges to anyone holding a license from another state.
Maintaining Your License in Maine
- No Continuing Education is required.
- This license is good for two years and is renewable with a fee of $45 for residents and $75 for non-residents.
