Idaho Insurance Adjuster

Adjuster License Requirements
To become a licensed insurance adjuster in Idaho, individuals must:
- Be 18 years of age or more.
Licensing Process
- If a resident of Idaho, you must pass the Idaho exam or demonstrate sufficient experience to waive the exam requirement.
- Submit Individual Licensing Application (write "Adjuster" across the top) with application fee of $80.
- Note: There is an exemption to licensing when a company brings in an adjuster to handle investigation or adjusting claims in exceptional circumstances, such as a catastrophe.
Reciprocity
- Idaho grants reciprocal licensing privileges to anyone holding a license from their home state, or if their home state does not require a license, from any other state.
Maintaining Your License in Idaho
- No Continuing Education is required.
- This license is good for two years and is renewable either online for $63 or by mail for $80.
